MythosGen updates

What's New in MythosGen

New generators, WorldBuilder improvements, fixes, and everything else being added to MythosGen.

v0.2.0Featured

Daily Forge and Chaos Mode

Daily Forge adds a free daily worldbuilding spark, and the standard generators now include an optional Chaos Mode that makes results more unusual while keeping them pronounceable and usable.

New

Added Daily Forge, a free daily worldbuilding feature that picks a deterministic result for each date and routes into the relevant name or procedural generator without using AI or credits.

New

Added Chaos Mode as an optional free toggle for the standard name generators, favoring rarer combinations and more surprising structure while still respecting the selected tone, culture, and setting filters.

Improved

Kept the standard generator experience unchanged unless Chaos Mode is enabled, so users still get the normal trusted generation flow by default while a more playful profile is available when desired.

Fixed

Stabilized the shared generator path so the chaos-aware variation is applied through the normal engine without disrupting the deterministic Daily Forge behavior or the existing generator defaults.

v0.1.9Featured

Procedural GM tools now hand off to AI cleanly

The free procedural Game Master tools now connect to the premium AI flow with safe preloading, while the combat encounter generator and shared procedural contracts were stabilized for the full tool family.

New

Added a Develop with AI action for the free Plot Hook, Quest, NPC, and Combat Encounter generators that carries structured seed data into the existing premium AI generator without charging for the handoff itself.

Improved

Kept the bridge focused on preloading and editing by reusing the current AI generator flow, preserving the user journey and leaving billing behavior untouched while the handoff opens in the correct category.

Fixed

Stabilized the shared procedural generator typing and completed the combat encounter integration so the Game Master toolset remains consistent, testable, and ready for premium AI follow-up.

v0.1.8Featured

Share cards export the same card they preview

The share-card preview and downloaded/copied images now both use the same canonical SVG, including the real logo and consistent layout.

Fixed

Fixed the share-card export path so copied and downloaded PNGs use the same canonical SVG as the preview instead of a legacy canvas fallback.

Improved

Embedded the real MythosGen logo directly in the share SVG so the exported image keeps the branded logo in every copy and download flow.

Fixed

Preserved the canonical card text, category labeling, footer structure, and 1200x630 layout so preview and export stay visually consistent.

v0.1.7Featured

Ask My World answers are grounded and safe

Ask My World now validates questions, reuses world-scoped retrieval, and refuses unsupported answers before charging a credit.

New

Added a grounded Ask My World flow that answers a single world question and surfaces the supporting lore with traceable source links back to the relevant world entries.

Improved

Reused the shared world retrieval system so source selection stays deterministic, world-scoped, and aligned with the existing entry, relationship, and timeline data.

Fixed

Hardened the route against empty or malformed questions, invalid provider output, hallucinated source IDs, unauthorized access, and failed AI requests that trigger a credit refund.

v0.1.6Featured

World Health finding details are clearer

World Health checks now present cleaner counts, clearer missing-reference labels, and expandable details so you can see exactly which entries are involved in each issue.

Fixed

Removed the duplicated count text from World Health findings so the title and count are no longer shown twice in the UI.

Improved

Added structured affected-entry metadata and expandable drill-downs so consistency issues show which entries are involved without forcing a second click to inspect the world.

Improved

Clarified missing-reference findings to read as possible missing relationships with the relevant source and target lore shown in the detail view.

v0.1.5Featured

World Health-backed lore suggestions

Suggest Missing Lore now uses World Health findings to suggest more specific, actionable ideas based on your world's existing characters, factions, locations, and events.

Improved

Suggest Missing Lore now uses deterministic World Health findings to ground recommendations in the actual structure of the world, including affected entries and the strongest opportunities for deeper lore.

Improved

Improved the suggestion prompt so it prioritizes creative, canon-safe development ideas and concrete next steps instead of simply repeating the raw health findings.

Fixed

Kept the one-credit flow, world access checks, and structured AI validation in place while rejecting malformed output and refunding failed provider requests.

v0.1.4Featured

WorldBuilder overview dashboard

WorldBuilder worlds now include a dashboard with at-a-glance statistics, recent activity, and quick entry access.

New

Added a WorldBuilder dashboard with world statistics, entry type breakdowns, recent entries, status summaries, and quick actions on the world overview page.

Improved

Connected the overview to existing world audit data so recent activity and continuing work are surfaced without adding new database tables or AI logic.

Fixed

Kept world access checks and dashboard loading aligned with the existing premium and collaborator permission model.

v0.1.3Featured

Middleware route protection fix

Protected routes now match the correct Collections page and API paths so login enforcement remains consistent across the app.

Fixed

Corrected the middleware route matcher for the Collections page so protected access checks cover the expected /collections path.

Improved

Kept the existing auth gating for saved items, results, names, and collection APIs aligned with the route patterns the app actually uses.

v0.1.2Featured

Starter Pack WorldBuilder import expands

Starter Packs can now be converted into connected WorldBuilder entries across the remaining live pack categories, not just Kingdom.

New

Expanded the Starter Pack to WorldBuilder flow so city, tavern, faction, villain, dungeon, guild, mage order, merchant company, pirate crew, religious order, fortress, forest, village, and noble house packs can be imported with a single preview and batch import.

Improved

Added shared validation for import plans so malformed converter output is rejected before entries or relationships are written to a world.

Fixed

Kept the existing premium, world-access, and edit-permission enforcement while expanding the standard Starter Pack import architecture.

v0.1.1Featured

Starter Pack WorldBuilder import

Starter Packs can now be imported into WorldBuilder with a quick preview and a direct destination-world flow.

New

Added a Starter Pack to WorldBuilder import flow, including a preview of the entries to be created before import.

Improved

Starter Pack results can now be sent straight into an existing world with automatic relationship creation for the generated kingdom content.

Fixed

Hardened the import path to verify authentication, premium access, and world edit permissions before creating entries.

v0.1.0Featured
